Tornado Shelves

Tornado Shelves encapsulates the multi-disciplinary design approaches of Abdulrahman Al Muftah, combining them with insight gained through his ongoing dialogue with Casablanca- based designer, Hamza Kadiri. This piece -in color, form, and finish -evokes movement of sand in Qatar and Morocco as it lifts and contorts in the wind. The hand-carved wood of the shelf unit reflects Al Muftah’s commitment to artistic research and his passion for the natural heritage of Qatar.
